1999 ZRT 800 Airbox Silencer Boot Kit Arctic Cat 0670-889 1670-103

This boot kit fits ONLY for the 1999 ZRT and Pantera (it does not fit the 1999 Thundercat).

This reproduction boot kit includes double, single, and 30pcs clips.

The boots are made of rubber that withstands oil and the new gasoline that contains ethanol.

Remarks:

The double boot has a metal plate inside of it. During the molding of the boot, the metal plate rests on the mold. As a result, the metal plate will be visible. If there are "loose flaps" released from the metal plate, feel free to remove it with a knife. Please look at the pictures. Please make sure that you're satisfied with what we are showcasing. Installation:

The rubber boots need to be mounted at room temperature. The warmer the rubber boots are the more flexible they will be.

Use two-stroke oil as a lubricant between the rubber boot and carburetor to make the installation easier. !DO NOT use any other lubricant than two-stroke oil! Do NOT use any sprays, for example silicone spray. The spray may contain solvents that the rubber isn't meant to be compatible with and it will start breaking down the rubber, and this will shorten the lifetime of the rubber.

These boots have always been a headache to mount, therefore I advise you to get professional assistance if needed.

The reproduction boots are close to the original, but not a copy.
